Dear Santa, Next time just leave coal

At 8:40 this morning, a time when many kids around the world are scrambling to the Christmas tree to see what Santa has delivered, something not quite the same was going on in my house.

An electric pump chose Christmas Day, a holiday where nothing but Chinese Restaurants are open, to fail. So what you may say? What’s the worst that can happen? How about a lower level family room flooded with some of the worst imaginable stuff. If I didn’t know better, I’d say Santa had a bit too many cookies and milk and the lactose intolerant jolly old soul let his gut rip in my house.

Not the way I had hoped to spend today. Anyway, while waiting for the $200/hour plumber to show up I found this. Enjoy!

  1. Oh dear – that’s terrible! How cool! Our neighbor has got lights that work with the radio station he spent 6 months building them. The kids love it – no so much Mom and Dad 😉
